A pair of Centre County rivals met up on Monday. Both Bald Eagle and Penns Valley have proven to be tough Teams in Softball and both were looking for some bragging rights Monday afternoon.
The two meeting up on Bald Eagle’s Senior Day. In the top of the 2nd, Penns Valley’s Ellie Coursen singles up the middle scoring Noelle Webb. It’s 1-0 Rams. Scotty Dingess sends a grounder to 3rd that takes a bad hop into left. She scores Coursen making it 2-0 Rams. After a pitch and a bad throw, she gets caught in a rundown and is out at 3rd.
This game goes on to be a high scoring affair as Bald Eagle defeats Penns Valley 13-12.
