Ballot Counting Debate

Across Pennsylvania, County Election Officials are hoping the State Legislature will approve a measure that will allow them to begin counting Mail-in Ballots before Election Day. Governor Tom Wolf says he’s been talking with Republican Leaders in both the House and Senate. Governor Wolf saying: “I had a fairly long phone conversation with Kerry Benninghof, the House Majority Leader and said I know there are areas where we don’t agree, but there are areas where we do agree. We could probably get something done.” However, House Republicans say they have no plans to change any Election Laws that could impact next month’s Election.
