State Police in Bedford County have released new details about Saturday’s attempted homicide in Snake Spring Township.
Troopers say Donald Rose stabbed a woman multiple times, resulting in her being flown to UPMC Altoona with life-threatening injuries.
Police say a maintenance worker witnessed the fight while working in a vacant apartment across the hall.
The witness told police he heard the woman yell he is trying to kill me.
Troopers said Rose admitted to striking the woman with a pot and large spoons prior to stabbing her multiple times because he had enough of her ignoring him.
Rose had his bail denied and is in Bedford County prison.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 16.
