We have an update regarding the safety upgrades coming to the diamond intersection in Downtown Bellefonte.
Those upgrades look to highlight the pedestrian walkways.
Last year one idea that was proposed was making the diamond intersection a roundabout.
The cost of that being close to one million dollars. And that idea was scrapped.
The new project at the diamond, of illuminating the crosswalks will be done this spring, and will cost the borough about $73,000 dollars.
