Announced today large businesses will soon no longer face the White House’s strict COVID-19 rule.
The Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration said it will withdraw its vaccination and testing regulation for businesses with 100 or more employees.
OSHA required businesses to mandate workers be fully vaccinated or undergo regular testing.
But the Supreme Court blocked the rule in a decision earlier this month. OSHA says the withdrawal takes effect tomorrow.
The regulation is no longer enforceable. However, the agency says it will remain a proposed rule as they work on finalizing a permanent COVID-19 health care standard
