President Joe Biden talking about the Nation’s Infrastructure. He says it is about time the U.S. repairs and upgrades its 45,000 bridges in poor condition. This, of course, following the collapse of a bridge in Pittsburgh at the end of last week. Joe Biden saying: “The next time, we don’t need Headlines saying someone was killed when the next bridge collapses. We’re going to rebuild that bridge, along with thousands of other bridges in Pennsylvania and across the country.”
Biden says crumbling infrastructure is unacceptable and touts the passage of his bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. He says those gathered in Pittsburgh that $1.6 Billion from the package went to bridges alone in Pennsylvania. The Infrastructure Bill is the largest investment in bridges since President Eisenhower developed the Interstate Highway System.
