Biden Visits Gettysburg

Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden visiting Pennsylvania and Today making an appearance in Gettysburg. Biden, like President Trump has visited the commonwealth several times and more trips are likely.

Talia Kirkland was there. And has reaction to Biden’s visit.

Today the former VP in Gettysburg for a brief but significant stop in the battle ground state as he delivered an address on unity. Calling the location appropriate.

As the VP arrived this evening he was greeted by about three dozen Trump supporters chanting four more years, slightly down the road a younger smaller group of Biden supporters making thier voices heard.

“We are all riding with Biden here we think he is going to be a great president and we are very excited for him.”

Inside the VP vowing that as POTUS he would unite rather than promote opposite sides on issues like the Coronavirus

“The virus doesn’t care where you live or what party you belong to it infects is all it will take anyone’s life it’s a virus.”

Later in his speech telling american voters that this is their moment and that this vote is a vote for the soul of the country.

“Every generation following Gettysburg has been faced with a moment.” / “This is our moment.”

Outside supporters encourage by his message.

“We believe in integrity and having a president with ethics and integrity and we believe that he can bring that back to the office.”

Despite the enthusiastic crowd President Trump won Adams County back in 2016 by a 2 to 1 margin and still has a large base in the area

“Adams county is Trump county and we know that he coming here to us he symbolism of Gettysburg but I don’t think he is unifying fugure.”

“It’s hard to be a Biden supporter and a Democrate in this area so we wanted to make sure he could see that he has support here.”‘
