And locally members of the Altoona and Hollidaysburg golf teams competed in the Big Cat Challenge at Scotch Valley Country Club Today.
Two golfers and a coach represented each school.
Sponsored by Scott Lawhead the event was set up between the two teams following districts.
The winners of the event earned $500 toward equipment for next school year.
The second place team was awarded $250 toward equipment.
