Blair County coroner Patty Ross has identified the victim of Thursday night’s fatal hit-and-run crash along Pleasant Valley Blvd.
Ross confirmed that the victim was 65-year-old James Jury, who authorities say was a homeless man.
Investigators say that they hope by releasing his name that they can identify his next of kin.

Logan Township Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred around 11 p.m. Thursday night.
According to police, the incident occurred along the 3300 block of Pleasant Valley Boulevard in Logan Township.
Police say one adult male was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The Logan Township Police and the Pennsylvania State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating the crash.
