A Cambria County man who plead guilty to shooting and killing his grandson last April has been sentenced to prison time, according to the Cambria County District Attorney’s office.
Authorities say 68-year-old John Oblinsky, of Summerhill, was sentenced Wednesday to serve 3 1/2 to 9 years in state prison.
In January, Oblinsky plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Jacob Fisher at a home along Fairlane Road.
Investigators say Oblinsky shot Fisher following a domestic-related incident.
Oblinsky was originally scheduled to go to trial in February, according to online court records.
