After Centre Care celebrated its final year in the early months of the Pandemic in its old home, now celebrating one year in its new home. Years have passed since the start of the Pandemic, when very few people could even enter Nursing Homes. Centre Care in Bellefonte opened a year ago, in the midst of that. Andrew Naugle, the Facility Administrator, says it took 5 years since the start of construction to moving Residents into the facility. Naugle saying: “The Residents really love the space. There’s a lot of community space for the Residents, a lot more dining rooms for the Residents as well to be able to use and spend time together.”
Getting this all up and running was no small feat, but Residents say all that hard work has paid off.
