Centre County Man Accused Of Attempting To Have Sex With A Homeless Woman

In Centre County a man is accused of attempting to have sex with a homeless woman, in a Downtown State College Parking Garage

According to State College Police, it was here, the Beaver Avenue Garage, where Bruce Miller assaulted a woman, in the early hours last Friday February 7th.

The woman testified against Miller in court Wednesday, during a preliminary hearing. She told a judge she is homeless, and planned to sleep in the parking garage’s bathroom when she encountered Miller in the bathroom.

According to the woman, Miller first touched her, talking about having sex and then pulled down her pants and underwear, while exposing himself.

The woman said she repeatedly told him that she didn’t want to have sex,and then got away.

A State College Police Officer testified when he first tracked down Miller a few hours later, Miller took off, before eventually being apprehended by another officer.

According to police, Miller first denied the incident, but then admitted to being in the parking garage bathroom with the woman.

At Wednesday’s hearing, a charge of attempted sexual sexual was added against Miller. He was bound over for trial on all charges, and remains jailed.
