A renovation project is in the works for a long time nursing home in Centre County.
Centre Crest was a nursing facility operated by the county for decades and they still own what’s now a vacant building.
Financing is now being lined up after a consultant’s report recommended that the county could still use the building.
“The initial study has been finished in terms of use of the facility is in great condition. there is ample square footage that we could be using for office space”
There’s no estimated price tag for the Centre Crest renovation yet.
It’s expected the design work will get underway this year.
