Centre Volunteers in Medicine say they’re going to be administering more than 1,000 vaccines Saturday as they continue to serve Centre County residents with free healthcare.
CVIM says the clinic will be held at Mount Nittany Middle School from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but all of the available vaccines have been accounted for and no walk-ins will be accepted.
However, they say they’re hoping this is just the first of several vaccination clinics, and those who missed out on this one can still sign up for future clinics.
“For our first large scale vaccine clinic, we have received confirmation from DOH for the Pfizer vaccine shipment and are thrilled to deliver this life-saving vaccine to the public,” CVIM Executive Director Cheryl White said. “Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) is committed to assisting with COVID-19 vaccination efforts in the community as vaccine supplies allow.”
If you’re eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, you can add your name to the waiting list on the CVIM website here: www.CVIM.net.
