Charlie’s Pub Renovations

Since opening their doors, Chad Hoover owner of Charlie’s Pub said there’s been a lot of changes.

Renovations were made to open the restaurant up more and give it a homier feel.

Another change added to the mix, COVID-19.

“Obviously along with everybody else just the hours of operation, restricted on how many people we can have and the masks,” said Hoover.

Along with those changes, Hoover added on more cleaning protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

With the recent statewide restrictions on Thanksgiving Day, he said cutting off alcohol sales hurt his business.

But all in all, things are going good.

“We’re doing okay and the community is helping. They’re coming in and supporting us the best they can,” he said.

For this new restaurant owner, he’s expecting the unexpected.

“I’m new to it so I think that’s a good thing so I didn’t know what to expect in the beginning anyhow,” Hoover said.

Hoover said he’s taking it one day at a time but he hopes things get back to normal soon.
