The roads into Coburn opened up late last night after being closed by Penndot due to safety concerns.
But while the flood waters have mostly receded the flooding’s damage lingers
Outdoors pools of water remain in some spots and the water logged ground squishes.
But indoors folks pump water out of their basements
Cut off from the rest of the region for roughly twenty four hours there was no going in or out of Coburn
One employee at a fishing shop was told to not even come to work Thursday and says the flooding hurt business…
“Well the way it definitely impacts us is the river is unfishable. We have people stay here and they come here as a destination to fish. And we definitely are not getting those people Today.
As you can see, it’s pretty quiet around here.”
