Also in Blair County a jury selection is moving forward in the case of Michael Copley who pleaded guilty to the December 2015 death of Catherine Copley.
According to prosecutors, Catherine’s body was found in a garage on East Pleasant Valley Boulevard in Altoona.
Another woman involved Samantha Musselman also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count on conspiracy abuse of a corpse.
Districts attorney’s say Musselman was given the maximum sentence of 1 to 2 years in jail followed by probation.
The DA says she is given credit for time served of 17 months and will be placed on probation for an additional 7 months.
Michael Copley is scheduled to stand trial on August 2nd.
