As for Coronavirus numbers on Saturday, 215 cases and 10 more deaths were reported throughout Pennsylvania and close to 12 Million vaccinations have been given out across the Commonwealth.
Locally in our 10 County Viewing Area, 14 new cases were reported and thankfully no new deaths.
Also on Saturday, new Guidelines out of Penn State University. Officials writing on their website: “On campuses that have more than 25 Students living in Residence Halls, Students living on Campus — who are not fully vaccinated — will be required to complete a COVID-19 test weekly.”
That will start after Summer Sessions begin and will continue throughout the Summer. Penn State Officials say the Students will receive a weekly reminder to complete the test at a designated site on campus. Fully vaccinated Students don’t have to worry about COVID-19 testing or wearing a mask.
