Cuddles for Kids is kicking off their “Sock & Hygiene Drive” in Johnstown.
They’re asking community members to donate shampoo, toothpaste, socks, and other items for children and adults.
Drop off locations in the Johnstown area include: The Morning Grind Coffee House, Steel City Axe, Room 1101 Hair & Nail Salon, The Upper Yoder Volunteer Fire Department, Ryan’s Artisan Goods, and Avail Business Systems.
These items will be distributed to the Johnstown Soup Kitchen and the Women’s Help Center to help those in need.
Conner Hagins, Founder & CEO of Cuddles for Kids, said this drive is especially needed for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This year we truly realize there’s a lot of small things that people need in their lives. It’s not only big things that people might think of…but just the simple things that we might take for granted in everyday life,” he said.
This drive will last until the second week of March.
