The District 6 Playoffs were in full swing Thursday afternoon. Bald Eagle was trying to get into the Class 3A Championship Game, but Westmont Hilltop was trying to spoil their party as the Hilltoppers and Bald Eagles met up in the Semifinals.
In the Bottom of the 5th, Bald Eagle’s Katelyn Schmidtko bloops a single to left and scores Autumn Tobias making it 1-0 Bald Eagles. Maddie Eckley singles to center scoring Schmidtko. Then, Mora Hackenberry singles to right scoring Eckley. That’s all the action Bald Eagle would need as they go on to Win this one 3-0.
