Deadly Woodward Stabbing

According to the Centre County District Attorney’s office, the victim of Thursday’s stabbing in Woodward was involved in a domestic incident prior to his death.

Investigators say around 4:30 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a residence along the 200 block of Mountain Ave, in Haines Township, for a report of an unresponsive male.

Troopers say they discovered the victim, identified as 26-year-old Robert William Farwell, of Spring Mills, had been stabbed.

Authorities say Farwell was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

The DA’s office says they are investigating Farwell’s death as a homicide that resulted from a domestic dispute.

Authorities add that there is no threat to the public, however, the identity of the suspect has not been released.

Court officials previously confirmed that it was a woman who had stabbed Farwell.
