Authorities say a Howard man will spend at least 90 days behind bars for hitting and killing a woman with his vehicle in Bellefonte more than a year ago.
In December, 37-year-old Brandon Deitz pleaded guilty to charges related to the deadly pedestrian crash that happened in July of 2020.
He was sentenced Tuesday morning.
Police say he hit and killed Stephanie Wilson who was crossing West High Street.
Deitz checked on Wilson after he hit her with his vehicle, but he left the scene without calling for help, police said.
