The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 3,100 new coronavirus cases in the state Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 1,154,105 throughout all 67 counties since the beginning of the pandemic.
Health officials say 89 percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered and 3,493,659 Pennsylvanians have been fully vaccinated.
All adults are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced.
There have been 74,185 confirmed cases in our 10-county viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 1,703 deaths.
One-hundred eighty-seven new cases and one more death were reported in our viewing area.
Centre reported an increase of 39 new cases, Blair reported 38, Cambria reported 28, Huntingdon reported 26, Clearfield reported 22, Somerset reported 13, Bedford reported 10, Elk reported 5, Jefferson reported 4 and Cameron reported two new cases.
Clearfield also reported one additional death.
According to the Department of Health, 4,401,685 patients have tested negative for the virus.
