DOH COVID-19 Update

1,520 More positive cases were added in Pennsylvania Today according to the Pa Department of Health dashboard.

That brings the 7-day average up over 1,400 while a month ago that total was below 200.

Thankfully deaths are continuing to remain low across the Commonwealth

But hospitalizations are continuing to rise.

66 Cases were reported in our 10 county viewing area Today and no new deaths.

Cambria, Centre, and Clearfield counties are all in the substantial range of community transmission which is the second highest level.

That means masking indoors in those counties is recommended by the CDC.

Even though Bedford county is reporting just one new case today their county is now in the CDC’s highest level of community transmission.

Cameron County is now in the lowest category after reporting no cases today.
