Todays virus headlines, the Department of Health announces just over 7600 new positive cases today, 687 of those cases are from our region.
Breaking that down by county, Blair County leads the way with 127 cases.
Cambria at 115, Centre, 112 more, Clearfield reports 68,
Somerset adds 66.
There are 56 more cases in Bedford,
48 more in Huntingdon,
47 in Jefferson,
44 in Elk
Cameron adding 4 new cases
And state health officials also report 100 new deaths. 15 of those are coming from our area and that is
Blair County reporting 7 new deaths.
Cambria, Huntington and Jefferson all adding 2, and Bedford and Somerset each reporting 1.
