Across Pennsylvania almost 19000 more people have tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials with the Pennsylvania Department Of Health are saying we’re still seeing that post-holiday wave of new covid cases.
From our area 1,586 of those newly reported cases.
Centre County once again leading totals locally at 391.
Cambria had 322.
Somerset saw 211.
Blair reports 203.
Clearfield saw 150 more cases.
Huntingdon had 125 today.
Jefferson added 72.
Bedford saw 59 more.
Elk reports 51.
And Cameron had 2 new cases.
DOH officials, also reported 269 new deaths statewide. And 15 of those people were from our region.
4 Of them were from Centre County. Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Huntingdon, & Somerset Counties each had 2 new deaths. And Jefferson County reports 1 new death.
