The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 1,309 Coronavirus cases in the state Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 166,552 throughout all 67 counties.
Eighty-one percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
There have been 6,292 confirmed cases in our viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 64 total deaths.
One-hundred thirty-eight new cases were reported in our viewing area.
Huntingdon reported 45 new cases, Cambria reported 34, Centre reported 26, Blair reported 17, Somerset reported 7, Bedford reported 5 and Clearfield and Jefferson each reported 2 additional cases.
State health officials reported 28 more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 8,272.
Clearfield reported 1 additional death.
