The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 1,376 Coronavirus cases in the state Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 167,928 throughout all 67 counties.
Eighty-one percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
There have been 6,430 confirmed cases in our viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 65 total deaths.
One-hundred thirty-eight new cases were reported in our viewing area.
Centre reported an increase of 94 new cases, Somerset reported 13, Blair reported 10, Huntingdon reported 6, Bedford and Cambria each reported 4, Elk and Jefferson each reported 3 new cases and Clearfield reported 1 additional case.
State health officials reported 27 more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 8,299.
Centre County reported its 12th virus-related death.
