The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 970 Coronavirus cases in the state Friday bringing the statewide total to 112,048 throughout all 67 counties.
Seventy-five percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
There have now been 1,582 confirmed cases in our viewing area, according to the Department of Health, and 29 total deaths.
Thirty-two new cases were reported in our viewing area: Cambria reported 11, Clearfield reported 9, Centre reported 4, Blair and Somerset each reported 3 and Bedford and Elk each reported 1 new case.
State health officials reported 13 more coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 7,189 .
