While The Pennsylvania Department of Health has not been formally releasing Sunday numbers for the past several weeks, the DOH’s dashboard was updated to show that 5,199 coronavirus cases were added in the state, bringing the statewide total to 265,137.
The dashboard also showed 38 more coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 9,274.
There have now been 14,601 total cases in our viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 157 deaths.
458 new cases were reported in our viewing area and three more deaths.
Cambria added 123 more cases, Blair reported 91, Centre reported 78, Somerset reported 44, Jefferson reported 36, Bedford reported 33, Clearfield reported 30, Huntingdon reported 15, and Elk reported 8 new cases.
Additionally, Cambria reported two more deaths and one more death was reported in Centre County.
