Tonight, residents of both Sandy Township and Dubois got a chance to voice their opinion on their year long consolidation study.
Dubois and Sandy Township residents say they have been waiting for more than a year to see the results of the 200-page consolidation study.’
That study was conducted by the Pennsylvania Economy League detailing the pros and cons of the merger.
Tonight area residents were able to see their presentation and ask questions.
Dubois city manager Herm Suplizio says one of the main goals of consolidating is to run a more efficient government.

All in all, Tonight’s main goal was for the community’s voice to be heard.
