Dubois Sexual Assault Charges

A DuBois man is behind bars after sexually assaulting three children, police say.

According to the City of DuBois Police Department, 57-year-old Jason White is facing charges related to the rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and indecent assault.

Police say they received several sexual assault reports through the Clearfield County Child Advocacy Center involving White.

The first report involved a 5-year-old boy in 2020.

The child’s parents said they began noticing behavioral changes with their child, so they called authorities, police say.

The child told police that White had assaulted him multiple times in White’s apartment, said investigators.

Police say a second child, a 6-year-old boy, told investigators he was sexually assaulted by White in the summer of 2020 after White invited him to his apartment.

Investigators say they interviewed White in Aug.

They say White denied the allegations and claimed the children were conspiring against him.

They also say White admitted to assaulting another boy, around the age of 11 or 12, in his bed a few years ago.

White is being held in the Clearfield County Prison.

Court documents indicate he was denied bail because he’s a “threat to himself and to society.”

He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday.
