We’re starting off with some good news tonight many events marking the autumn season came back to our area Today.
One of them being Potatofest in Cambria County which drew hundreds of people to downtown Ebensburg Today.
It’s the 30th year for this annual tasty tradition and it’s the Ebensburg Mmainstreet Partnership’s biggest event of the year.
Today the streets were lined with crafters, artists, food vendors, live entertainment, and of course a variety of potato themed foods.
I heard they even had potato candy.
Organizers say Cambria County is the second largest supplier of potatoes in Pennsylvania.
“It’s great out here. It’s great. The weather is also great too.”
“I’m having a lot of fun. I didn’t realize potatoes were such a big thing here.”
“Everybody just benefits from it. We’re happy to host and put it together every year just for that reason.”
This event was hosted on a smaller scale last year because of the pandemic and it was called the Spud Stroll.
