As the elderly and disabled become more dependent on others for their care, it becomes increasingly more important to hold caretakes accountable for neglecting and endangering those in their care. The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Care-Dependent Team is focused specifically on protecting the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable citizens from caregiver neglect and abuse. Michelle Nutter, the Education and Outreach Program Manager for the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General, talks about the program and the problem.
