Eric Barron Webcast

Penn State President Eric Barron Wednesday on a web cast answering questions about the university’s pandemic plans and the update in the state’s vaccination schedule

“This such great news in terms of our university getting back to a more normal way of life”

A little over a year ago, Penn State shut down most on campus classes and activities and since then the response has included various teaching plans. The summer is expected to bring more changes aimed at the resumption of more in person classes

“Summer is a transition for our students where we will have a full compliment of classes for our students, but still have remote offerings.we think we can do this, spacing out students, and in the fall an expectation to full face to face experience for our students”

Wednesday’s web cast focusing on issues raised by university faculty and staff. The Penn State president plans to hold another one next month.
