Feel Good Friday – May 21st

Two Police Officers in New York City are being called Heroes for rescuing a man who had fallen onto Subway Tracks. A Medical episode had rendered the man unconscious and a train was coming. The Officers sprung into action, one using his flashlight to stop the train while the other got the man off the tracks and back onto the platform. The man is said to be breathing and alert.

Fidelity announced it has launched the Fidelity Youth Account, an Investing and Saving account for 13-17 year olds. The account is free and will allow the Teens to buy and sell stocks, ATFs, and Mutual Funds. Parents must also have a Fidelity account and will have access to their kids’ spending and investment activity. Teen Investors will have some autonomy as parental approval will not be required to make transactions.

Princess Beatrice is expecting her first baby with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in Autumn. According to the Buckingham Palace, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is already Step-Mother to Edoardo’s 5-year-old Son Christopher Wolf. The couple married in July last year at a secret ceremony in Windsor. A statement by the Royal Family’s Twitter account said the Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news. The Baby will be the Queen’s 12th Great-Grandchild following the arrival of Prince Harry and Megan’s 2nd child in the Summer.

A Zebra gave birth in front of visitors at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. The newborn boy was born on May 17th and weighed 65 lbs. Guests riding the theme park’s Kilimanjaro Safaris witnessed the birth. It is the first Zebra to be born in the Animal Kingdom this year. The Mother Heidi and her son will rejoin the Zebra herd in a few weeks.

The National Zoo in Washington D.C. is showing off a fan favorite, as it set to reopen on Friday. A family of Giant Pandas including a young cub are ready for visitors. The Zoo has extra measures in place. Face Coverings are mandatory in all indoor spaces. Fully Vaccinated guests can remove their masks outdoors.
