An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in the basement of a Ferndale home, authorities say.
According to the Cambria County Coroner’s office, a man in the home, located on the 700 block of Summit Ave., called 911 around 5:26 a.m.
Details are limited at this time, but Chief Deputy Coroner Joseph Hribar says the woman was 32-year-old.
The Cambria County Coroner’s Office, Ferndale Borough Police and the Cambria County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
