Flyers Trade Voracek for Atkinson

The Philadelphia Flyers were busy this weekend. They sent Forward Jakub Voracek to the Columbus Blue Jackets in a Trade. The 13 Year Pro spent 10 of those Seasons with the Flyers, racking up 738 Points in 968 Games. He was originally Drafted by the Blue Jackets, where he had 134 Points in 241 Games from 2008 to 2011.

In Exchange, the Flyers are getting Forward Cam Atkinson. He has spent all 10 of his NHL Seasons in Columbus, tallying up over 400 Career Points in 627 Games. He also had a 41 Goal Season in 2019. In the deal, the Jackets will be saving some in Cap Space but the Flyers will take a little bit of a hit.
