A state court hearing this week on Penndots attempt to temporarily suspend a state college based contractor from bidding on state road projects, Glen O’ Hawbaker Inc pleaded no contest to four felony theft charges filed by the Attorney General’s Office, tied to accusations of improperly diverting funds for their prevailing wage employees.
The company agreed to pay close to $21 million in restitution. Hall Baker filed an appeal in Commonwealth Court to spend on its proposal to suspend the company for three years from bidding on Penndot work in an initial hearing this week.
The presiding judge gave both sides another week to file more information.
