Health Initiatives for Students

As Students prepare to return to the Classroom, State Leaders are reminding you of the Health Initiatives in place to keep Students and Staff safe. Back to School Week is underway in Pennsylvania and State Leaders say the Health and Safety of Students and Staff comes first.

For a second straight year, COVID-19 is playing a role in classrooms across the State. State Leaders are reminding Students to get the necessary vaccinations ahead of the school year. To mitigate the spread of the Virus, the State offering a free COVID-19 Testing Program for Schools. The State is also mandating that Vaccine Providers work directly with Schools to set up Vaccination Clinics.

If Vaccine Providers don’t have the capacity to Staff these Clinics, Schools are asked to call the Department of Health to coordinate.
