Hunting Shooting Update

The Pennsylvania Game Commission has released new details in the investigation of a hunting accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Rush Township.

According to Supervisor Mike Steingraber, the juvenile who was shot was part of a group of hunters who were “driving” the deer.

Steingraber says initial reports suggest that the deer turned back towards the group that was “driving,” and that another hunter shot at the deer, accidentally hitting the juvenile.

The investigation is ongoing and Steingraber says that charges could be filed once it is complete.
