The man killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 near Milesburg Thursday has been identified.
According to the Centre County Coroner’s Office, 43-year-old Stephen Long, of Lock Haven, died in the crash and an autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
PennDOT officials say a minivan crashed into the back of a tractor trailer.
The collision happened at mile marker 158 prompting the interstate’s eastbound lanes to be closed for several hours.
Pennsylvania State Police Rockview and the coroner’s office are handling the investigation.
They say no further information is available at this time.
Bellefonte EMS, Milesburg Fire Company, Bellefonte Fire Department and Howard Fire Department responded to Thursday’s scene.
