I-99 Accident

A portion of Interstate 99 near Interstate 80 in Marion Township was temporarily closed following a crash. The crash happened around 11:30 Monday night on Forest Avenue.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, a Toyota Prius stopped and turned left at the Forest Avenue and Jacksonville Road intersection when a Chevrolet Silverado struck the vehicle. The Prius then hit into the guide rail.

State police said the driver of the Prius had suspected minor injuries but refused to be transported.

There were no other injuries reported.

First responders from Bellefonte and Pleasant Gap were on the scene. According to 511pa.com, the road has since reopened.
