Have you ever tried bean pasta? KC O’Day and her niece Mallory tried it with an Asian-inspired sauce.
Asian Inspired Sauce for Pasta
¼ cup of Soy or Tamari Sauce
½ teaspoon sesame oil
1 ½ cups broth (whatever you have on hand, and if you don’t have broth you can use water)
1 Tablespoon freshly ground ginger
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
Add all ingredients except cornstarch to a jar that has a lid.
Add the cornstarch last, screw on the lid and shake for a few minutes until all ingredients are well blended.
Pour ingredients into a saucepan and heat on medium, whisking occasionally. Simmer until sauce is a glossy brown, and serve on top of pasta.
Optional: toss in some cooked chicken.
