Also taking place on Sunday, Innovative Extracts hosted their Inaugural “Sunflower Stroll” in Portage. Innovative Extracts is a hemp grower and CBD company in Portage, located on Golden Farms. They sold over 500 tickets for the event, which bought visitors a chance to get free samples from small businesses.
Over 20 Vendors set up shop along with live music, food trucks, and beverage companies. The community could also, of course, enjoy the sight of beautiful sunflowers. Matt Sinosky, Investor & Founding Partner of Innovated Extracts saying: “We really believe as a family farm, as a local business, it’s really important to keep that money in the community. There’s a lot of local vendors here that provide services that other people are often going elsewhere for. We can provide all that here in this area.”
Also, Innovative Extracts will be expanding to a second location at 207 Market Street in Johnstown. They’ll offer a full line of Hemp and CBD products and the Owners hope to open on Labor Day weekend.
