The 16th annual Jackson Township Heritage Festival
Which returned this weekend after a two year hiatus.
They were planning an event last year but because of COVID-19 of course it was cancelled.
Organizers say this year they’re happy to be back and there’s something for everybody in the family to enjoy
Live music, over 70 food and craft vendors, a basket raffle and kids activities including a petting zoo and face painting.
“I think for the community it’s just a big homecoming for most of them. I’ve noticed a lot from out of town that are back visiting. We got a lot of compliments last night and today about how happy the community and the visitors are just that we’re back.”
The festivities will still be going on until 11 Tonight and again from noon to 5 Tomorrow.
