The man charged in the deadly shooting of a Centre County woman, now plans on an insanity defense.
Christopher Kowalski is accused of killing Jean Tuggy in her Pine Grove Mills home in 2016.
According to court documents, the man arrested earlier this month for the murder of a Centre County woman in 2016 has been brought back to Pennsylvania.
Officials say 35-year-old Christopher Kowalski, who was arrested in South Carolina for the murder of Jean Tuggy, was jailed in Centre County Prison Saturday.
Authorities arrested Kowalski in early February in South Carolina, after he confessed to her murder.
Investigators say Kowalski shot Tuggy in her Pine Grove Mills home with a 9mm pistol, which authorities were able to track down and link to him.
