A Johnstown man is back behind bars this time in Blair County after police say he reportedly sent threatening messages to a woman whom he previously kidnapped and held captive
Robert Stevenson-Watts was arrested in 2020 after authorities say he abducted a woman and held her in the attic of a condemned home in Conemaugh.
Court records show that he pled guilty in the case and was sentenced to 18 to 36 months in jail.
Now police say he is facing new charges following two separate investigations into repeated threatening messages that he reportedly sent to the victim.
Stevenson-Watts was arraigned last week on charges of witness intimidation, making terroristic threats and retaliation against a witness or victim.
He is jailed at the Blair County Prison on $200 thousand dollars bail.
