In international headlines, South Korean Capital Seoul renewed the proposal to co-host the 2032 Olympic games with the North Korean Capital Pyongyang.
The Seoul city government said Thursday in a statement that the games could serve as a watershed moment for peace in the Korean Peninsula.
A proposal has already been sent to the International Olympic Committee.
In 2018, leaders of the two Koreas agreed to pursue co-hosting the Olympic games in 2032 but the Inter Korean discussion on the matter ceased in 2019.
