A new donation system fundraising for Horseshoe Curve’s G-9 locomotive restoration project is now available.
This new donation system can be found on the Railroaders Memorial Museum’s Website.
There are 3 tiers available for general donations current restoration projects and the K-4 steam locomotive fund.
The new donation initiative was launched back in may and organizers say that is has been met with postive feedback.
They say it gives people an opportunity to take a proactive role in the projects that they want to see done.
“Through this restoration tier, this donation tier on our website, folks were able to donate to that specific cosmetic restoration job. But that is just one example of how you
can contribute to restore and save history locally.”
